I love my onion rings crispy and golden-brown on the outside and that's the finish I go for when air frying.
How long to air fry frozen onion rings in air fryer generally takes about 8-10 minutes at 400F/200C. If cooked at a lower temperature than above, it will take longer to cook. Do not set the temperature higher than 400F/200C, as the onion rings might burn on the outside instead of having golden-brown outer.

How To Store and Reheat
They are best eaten immediately cooked so make the quantity required. I don't recommend storing, however, if there are leftovers you can refrigerate. They will go soggy but you can reheat them to crisp them back.
In the fridge:
Put leftovers in a Ziploc bag or airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
In the freezer:
First, let the onion rings cool down. Place them in a tray in a single layer and freeze for 1 hour. Remove onion rings from the tray and arrange them into an airtight container or Ziploc bag. Label and freeze for up to 3 months.
To Reheat:
The best way to reheat it is in the air fryer. Whether the leftovers are refrigerated or frozen, preheat the air fryer to 350F/175C.
Place leftovers into the air fryer basket and air fry for 5 minutes or till they are crisp and heated through.

Tips
- Use a trusted brand for a delicious outcome.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. You will not get a crispy consistency on the outside nor evenly cooked ones if overcrowded. I recommend not to fill the basket more than halfway.
- If you need to make a large quantity, you can cook them in batches.
- Do not thaw before air frying. Thawing will make the result soggy so cook them from frozen.
- Reheat at a lower temperature so that the inside can get warm and the outside crispy without being burnt.
