Ingredients

  • 1 kg (2lb) Potatoes
  • ½ teaspoon Rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon Parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon Dried thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • First, wash the potatoes to remove any dirt from them (You can peel the skin off if you prefer).
    Pat the potatoes dry then slice them into equal sizes. 
  • Add the garlic powder, dried thyme, rosemary, parsley, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Mix till they are well combined. 
  • Arrange the potatoes in the air fryer. 
    Set the air fryer to a temperature of 360F/180C.
  • Air fry the potato slices for 10 minutes. Bring out the air fryer basket, shake the potatoes and continue to air fry for another 10 minutes.
  • Bring out the potatoes.
    Serve and enjoy. 

Notes

Tips
  • Slice the potatoes into similar sizes.
  • You can use just salt, pepper, and oil or add additional seasoning to the potatoes. The herbs used in this recipe go well with potatoes and give them a great flavor.
  • Adjust the salt and pepper to your taste.
  • Shake the potatoes halfway into cooking so they crisp nicely on all sides.
  • When cooked, bring out the air fryer basket as leaving the potatoes in the air fryer can continue to cook them with retain heat in the air fryer and they might dry out.
  • Air fryer varies by brand and type and there is variation in cooking time depending on what type you use so you might have to adjust the temperature and cooking time accordingly.
